(An English edition was published by New World Press, Beijing.) The remaining six fascicles were edited by Lin Yi and other members of the Institute of Medical Literature Revision during the Song Dynasty (960-1279) and compiled into the present Synopsis of Presciptions of the Golden Chamber.

The Synopsis consists of twenty-two chapters.
